Voters that receive a phone call from a volunteer are more likely to follow through and complete and return their vote by mail ballot or of heading to the polls.

Types of Calls

Connecting our Current  Volunteers

I will reach out to keep our current volunteers current of what is going on and where we need the most help right now.

Recruiting New Volunteers

I will call potential volunteers and help them get acquainted with our site and how they can help.

Specific Event Invitations

I will call to invite people to come to specific events that support the JohnsonWeld 2016 efforts.

Polling Calls  (helpful information)
I will call third party and non-party affiliated voters to answer questions and share why I believe Gary Johnson is a viable candidate and should be included in the debate and be an option to every American Voter.

Commitment Calls

I will call registered Libertarian Voters to seek their promise to make sure their vote is heard on election day, have they signed the petition to Let Gary Debate?  Donated? Do they want to get involved locally?

Get Out The Vote Calls

Contacting all our Hillsborough Libertarian, third party, and NPA voters to submit their mail in ballot or to
GET OUT AND VOTE.

Thank you for your efforts. Please select the type of phone calls you will be making and then collect the contact information.  Be sure to update the database as you go so others will know not to double contact the same person.

Here’s how a current volunteer connect call might go:

  1. Call an active JohnsonWeld volunteer like you!
  2. Introduce yourself and then follow a script that will go something like this:

You: I’m also a  Johnson Weld Campaign volunteer right here in Hillsborough County, FL.  I am reaching out to make sure that you are getting your questions answered, the support you need, and know about all the great things we have going on right here.  We have phone calls to make, doors to knock on, "Let Gary Debate" signatures to collect, our monthly support dinner and discussion on the second Wednesdays of the month, and sign waves  galore  right here in Hillsborough County.  How can I best assist you or connect you to some one who can so we can keep the momentum going full steam ahead through election day and then beyond.

  3. Be sure to watch your email for the November Appreciation event.

Them: Sure, but I’ve never volunteered before.

You: That’s ok!  We will connect you with an organizer and they’ll give you everything you need.

  3. If they say yes: Confirm their email address and phone number and let them know an organizer will follow up with the details to help them with their volunteer shift.
